The following is a summary of the cancellation conditions and charges for most bookings with The Spain Event. There may be some exceptions to these rules depending on which activities and /or tickets you have booked, and these will be notified if applicable.

To cancel a booking please send an email with your package details to: bookings@thespainevent.com
If you have to cancel a package booked with us due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight cancellations or the effects of natural phenomena such as earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, and coups d’etat we will always do our best to refund you partially or in full, however this is not always possible
Once you accept a proposal, we will send you a booking form. You must return the booking form with details inserted (such as flight details, arrival times etc). A booking deposit to confirm your commitment is also required at this time. This booking deposit is normally 20% of the package total (although that may vary).
Full payment for your package is usually due no later than 30 days before your arrival date.
Unless stated otherwise on your booking form, you may cancel within 7 days of us receiving your deposit if the booking has been made with more than 40 days in advance.
Depending on the date of cancellation the following cancellation charges apply:
– More than 4 weeks before the event is scheduled to take place: the full deposit amount (usually 20% of the total package price or sometimes a fixed amount like €35 per person).
– Between 4 and 1 week(s) before the event is scheduled to take place: 50% of the total package price.
– Less than 1 week before the event is scheduled to take place: 100% of the total package price.
“No Show”: If you or your group does not arrive in time for a stated activity, this will be deemed a “no show” with 100% cancellation fee.
